We were able to replace the starter battery at a local place, but to get the leisure batteries meant a return trip to Obelink, the big camping store about an hour away. So, why do we think we needed new batteries? We know the couple that owned the motorhome before us were older, and the husband was having health issues over the past two years. We think the camper wasn’t used much, and probably didn’t have the routine stuff done to be in pro-longed storage. One of the issues we had was the drains. Water was leaving the sinks very slowly, so Tymeck came to the rescue by pulling all of them out and cleaning them.

We made our way south, and saw an increasing amount of campers headed our way, and away from our way going the other direction. We got behind another Hymer Camper and followed them all the way to Obelink. They had a Europe Map Decal where you could fill out the countries you visit. Kasey wanted one.

Obelink was a mad house, especially compared to our visit jut last week. We were hard pressed to find a place to park the camper. We ventured inside and while locating the batteries, we also found the Map Decal, in the next aisle. Would have never looked for them there! By the time we got checked out, it was getting late.

We started on our way back, and were wondering what we were going to do for a meal. Eat now, middle of the afternoon, and snack for dinner, or a snack now, and full dinner later. By the time we would get back, park the motorhome, and settle in, we both would be tired. The Golden Arches appeared on the horizon, and we wanted to try any way, so we stopped in, and ate in the parking lot. When you have a dinning room with you, why not?

I was hoping to change the batteries out that evening, but decided to wait until the next day.
