From a Real Estate Deal that didn’t go through, to hurry and get things planned, that is how we got down to our flight day. We had planned to hang around town for a few days to get everything closed down, but that was not going to work. So, instead of leaving from New London, North Carolina, or Charlotte Airport, we headed to Indiana for a about week. This let us see the grandsons before we took off.
We arrived at the airport early enough to find our flight was delayed for 90 minutes. After a snack and an attempt to get Salsa to use the Pet Relief Station, we finally boarded the plane.
We had three ours between flights, so we thought we would still be okay at JFK in New York. By the time we got to the bathroom, gave Salsa another shot at a relief station, and got to our gate, it was pre-boarding, which we do with the dog.
After a cramped first flight, we had more room, and were blessed with animal friendly passengers nearby. After landing, we felt like we had taxied all the way across Amsterdam, and then walked all that back to claim our luggage.
We were off to the hotel, with a disturbed driver, not sure if it was the five suitcases or the dog, but it was a hair raising ride. Finally, Salsa had to the chance to do her business on grass, and she did. How many house did she go? Watch the video and find out!
